Qualification:

1. With 5 years experience in Shipping / Forwarding.
2. Getting and exceeding annual sales target of Sea & Air Freight. Experience in selling multi modal freight services.
3. Taking ownership of your own accounts and developing customers and markets
4. Selling multi-modal freight services, warehousing and logistics.
5. External sales visits and presentations to prospective clients.
6. Business development of existing and new business contacts.
7. Negotiating rates / Closing sales.
8. Preparing a forecast of potential market revenue.
9. Demonstrate clear gross profit margins on all trade lanes.
10. Should have working experience in a clearing and forwarding companies in sales of containers. and booking containers with the shipping lines to earn reasonable profit.
11. A good knowledge of the freight forwarding industry (essential).
12. Able to identify clear business opportunities and to convert them.
13. Strong field sales experience and a proven track record within the freight industry.
14. Keen, enthusiastic and self-motivated personality.
15. Ability to communicate well both face to face and over the telephone.
16. Commercial awareness / Working to targets.
17. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
