A reputed Construction Company in Abu Dhabi looking for the following position:
Position : HSE Officer
Job Description:
- Inspecting the site work on a daily basis.
- Recording and reporting any faults found in conjunction with Company Health, Safety & Environmental Plan’s instructions.
- Carrying out corrective measures to faults found as decided by the Committee.
- Preventing injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment.
- Further improvement in existing work methods.
- Spotting potential hazards before work commencement.
- Providing feedback to the PM/PE regarding Health, Safety and Environmental matters.
- Reviewing the Fire Safety and Fire Protection requirements, monitoring availability and
- Maintenance of the firefighting equipment, reviewing charge indicators on extinguishers and report monthly extinguishers state.
- Conducting fire mock drills on the site.
- Assist Foreman in Tool Box Talks.
- Reporting near miss.
- Assisting Engineer/Foreman/Surveyor in the preparation of HSE form.
- Ensuring evacuation of injured when a situation rise, and alerting the emergency services.
- Protect as much as possible the environment by avoiding destruction of green areas, trees and reducing possibility of CO2 pollution generating and by reinstatement of green areas whenever It is possible.
- Report immediately any EHS Incident to PM and also to Company QHSE Engineer.
- Inform the fire brigade in case of need.
- Prepare monthly HSE performance report.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Bachelor degree/ Diploma ( 3 years)
- NEBOSH IGC certified
- OSHAD QUDORAT
- First Aid/ CPR & Firefighting Training
- 6-8 years of UAE/GCC experience in Construction/Infrastructure/Oil & Gas/ Piping/Cabling industry
- UAE Driving License is an advantage
